Become a Patron and join our community of local and national Festival supporters, who are building a world where everyone can explore and create culture.
Only 40% of our income comes from ticket sales; the rest has to be raised annually from sponsorship, grants and donations to fund our Festival programmes and our year-round Learning and Participation work.
What is a Patronage?
Patronage is a way to both support and enjoy the work of Cheltenham Festivals and it makes the perfect gift too for a culture lover too. All four levels of Patronage contribute directly to funding our activity, as well as unlock a set of benefits.

How can I join as a Patron?
You can join online at anytime or you can email the team.
The team are always happy to arrange a meeting if you would prefer to discuss our Patron scheme in person

How long does my Patronage last?
All levels of Patron are for 12 months from the date of purchase, with the exception of Life Patrons
How long is Priority Booking and what can I book?
Patrons receive exclusive advance booking periods. After this period ends tickets go on sale to members and the general public
Tickets go on sale to Patrons in the following order: Life Patrons, Directors Circle, Gold Patrons and Silver Patrons
Am I guaranteed the tickets I want?
Although we cannot guarantee availability of tickets, your Patronage gives you exclusive advanced booking periods before tickets go on sale to members and the general public
For some special events there may be a limit on the number of tickets you can purchase for that event. This will be communicated to you in advance of your booking period and will be relative to your level of Patronage
Is my Patronage Gift Aidable?
If you are a UK taxpayer please consider signing up for Gift Aid when you purchase a Patronage. Gift Aid increases the value of your Patronage and any other donations you make to our charity by 25% because Cheltenham Festivals can reclaim the basic rate of tax on your gift – at no extra cost to you
